The PLAB (Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board) exam serves as a licensing examination that International Medical Graduates (IMGs) must clear before commencing their clinical practice in the UK. It is bifurcated into two parts: the first comprises Single Best Answer (SBA) or Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), while the second involves clinical OSCEs.

The UKMLA (UK Medical Licensing Assessment) functions as an exit exam that all medical graduates in the UK must clear to obtain their license to practice. We are diligently working towards releasing a Qbank for the UKMLA AKT shortly.

In 2024, the syllabus for PLAB will be superseded by the UKMLA syllabus, although the exam for IMGs continue to be called “PLAB”. All of our questions will be refreshed when this change happens.
